Olive oil is very sensitive. Many factors affect the quality of your oil – like air, light, heat, water, sediment. These speed up the oxidation process, shortening the shelf life of olive oil. It also likes to soak up nearby fragrances and flavors, which alter its taste and smell.
Stainless steel is the perfect material for olive oil storage. It has no flavor or odor, and is impenetrable by sun or moisture.
Letina [ZU] stainless steel tanks are designed specifically for olive oil storage and have several quality-of-life features aimed at the olive oil industry. Conical bottoms enable purging, special valves make racking easy, and the inert gas fitting prevents oxidation.
Durable, high-quality materials enable the olive oil storage tank to stay in pristine condition, even after years of professional usage.
The olive oil storage tank is made out of AISI 304 quality stainless steel. An upgrade to AISI 316L stainless steel is available for high-corrosion environments.
A high-polish, mirrored finish is applied to the outside of the conical fermenter. Marbled, Matte and Scotch Brite finishes are also available upon request. The inside is BA (IIId) Mirror polished.
The olive oil storage tank tank comes with a centered conical bottom (30°/45°/60°) by default.
A press-molded eccentric conical top is standard for the stainless steel olive oil storage tank. Other head shapes are available upon request.
The olive oil storage tank comes with a centered conical bottom for easy purging.
A special inert gas fitting is built into the tank that helps prevent oxidation.
Stainless steel is completely sanitary and will not impart any taste or smell on your oil.

You receive our quote and decide whether you want to change it. If you're satisfied, we move onto the design and engineering phase.
You give us inputs based on the drawings we send you. It is an iterative process and we only stop when you're 100% satisfied.
You sign the final version of the drawing and email it to us. We then schedule the tank for manufacture. You still have some time for making small changes.
Your final tank design enters the production line. It is assembled from high-grade stainless steel using advanced welding techniques.
Your tank is shipped out to you, including a manual and proper maintenance guide. We'll always be there for you to provide assistance.
